Tuna Casserole

8 oz. elbow macaroni, prepared
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 (7 oz.) can Tuna in water, drained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chunky Clam chowder
1/2 soup can milk
2 oz. Velveeta cheese, shredded (optional)

Saute onion and green pepper in butter or margarine. Combine all ingredients except Velveeta cheese and mix well; top with cheese, optional. Bake in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, uncovered at 400 F for 20 to 25 minutes.
