Shrimp and Cheese Casserole

6 slices bread
1 lb. Shrimp (ready to eat)
1/4 cup margarine, melted
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 clove garlic (optional)
1/2 lb. Old English cheese
3 whole eggs, beaten
1 pint milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Break bread in pieces about size of a quarter. Break or grate cheese. Arrange Shrimp, bread and cheese in several layers in greased casserole. Pour melted butter over this mixture.

Beat eggs; add mustard, salt, pepper and garlic to eggs and milk. Mix and pour over ingredients in casserole. Let stand a minimum of 3 hours, preferably overnight. Bake one hour in 350 oven, covered. To double recipe use 3 lbs. Shrimp.
